For over 200 years, Presbyterians have been responding to the call of Jesus Christ, taking the gospel into all the world and bearing witness to Christ’s saving love to the ends of the earth. Today the Holy Spirit is still on the move, calling us to share in what God is doing in the world.
Olympia Presbytery
Our regional body in the PC(USA) is the Olympia Presbytery. We are the southernmost member but still actively engaged. We are connected in mission and ministry.
Confessional
After the Bible, Presbyterians rely on confessions (statements of belief) from our shared past to help us understand and interpret Scripture. We are not alone when we read Scripture but rather join the great cloud of witnesses in interpreting its meaning for our life today.
Beliefs
Presbyterians hold a wide range of Biblically Reformed views. Longview Presbyterian Church believes that the Scriptures give us grace and call us to justice.
