Mission

LPC has dedicated themselves to “Seeking Christ’s Way and Welcoming All.”
We do this by following the commands of Matthew 25.

Poor People’s Campaign

“When was it that we saw you naked and gave you clothing?”

We are a faith partner and organize for the most vulnerable.

FISH

“When was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food?”

We serve a food bank several times a year offering food and other essentials such as hats and scarves in the winter.

Land Project

“When was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you?”

We have partnered with Housing Opportunities of SW WA to build affordable housing on our vacant lot next to church.

Blessing Box

“When was it that we saw you thirsty and gave you something to drink?”

We have a “take what you need, leave what you can” Blessing Box on our front lawn to provide all sorts of essentials to those in need.

Hagar’s Community Church

“When was it that we saw you in prison and visited you?”

We partner through volunteers and financial support with the congregation in the Washington Corrections Center for Women.

Deacons

“When was it that we saw you sick and visited you?”

Our deacons have a robust ministry of caring for the sick through encouraging phone calls, compassionate listening, and providing meals.
